MobiTalk Privacy Policy
Effective date: 15 October 2026.
Who operates MobiTalk
MobiTalk is operated by Humeksis Ltd., Türkiye, referred to below as “we”. MobiTalk provides channel-based voice, text, transcription, optional speaker pictures and location features. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to gokturk@zonno.ai.
Business address: Gebze Technical University, Technopark 23P, 41400 Gebze, Türkiye.
Information we process
Account information. We process your email address, nickname, account identifier, authentication information and session credentials to create and verify your account, sign you in, maintain access and handle account requests. Authentication is provided through the service at zonno.ai. Your nickname and channel presence are visible to other participants; an email address is not displayed in the normal channel member list.
Voice and transcripts. When you take a speaking turn, your voice is transmitted to other participants. The app also records speaking turns temporarily and sends them to the configured speech-transcription service. Transcripts appear in the channel conversation. Transcription may be inaccurate. Do not use a channel to communicate information you do not want other participants to hear or read.
Messages and speaker pictures. We process the text you send and, when you enable the feature, your selected avatar or camera snapshot so that other channel participants can see them. Enabling a camera picture does not mean the app continuously broadcasts live video.
Optional location. You can enable approximate-location sharing in Settings → Location & pictures. The current native app rounds shared coordinates to 0.001 degrees, roughly a neighbourhood-level location rather than an exact address; accuracy and rounding distance vary by latitude and device. The coordinates are visible to other people in the channel, including through their map and distance displays. Sharing remains selected when you switch app tabs. Location updates pause when the app goes into the background and resume when you return. Leaving the channel or turning sharing off stops sharing. A connection failure can delay confirmation that a previously shared position has been removed.
Using your location only for the participant-distance feature does not upload your position to the MobiTalk channel. Apple’s location permission and the MobiTalk sharing switch are separate controls. You can revoke device permission in iPhone Settings.
Technical and safety information. The service processes network information needed to deliver requests, device-category labels, push-notification registration tokens, connection events and information needed to administer channel restrictions. Operational logs may contain IP addresses, request metadata and errors.
Why we use information
We use information to provide and secure accounts; deliver voice, messages, transcripts and optional pictures and locations; reconnect sessions; notify native clients of channel activity; investigate failures; handle support; and enforce channel rules.
Device permission alone does not replace any notices or consent required for the underlying processing.
Who receives information
Other participants receive the content and optional location or pictures you share in their channel. They may record, copy or redistribute it independently; deletion from MobiTalk cannot remove copies they have made.
Infrastructure and service providers process information needed to operate the service, including hosting, account authentication, email delivery and transcription. Apple services support maps, device location and push notifications. MobiTalk’s Privacy Policy covers our processing; Apple’s services are also subject to Apple’s applicable privacy terms.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law or where a lawful and necessary disclosure protects the service or people.
We do not share your personal information for commercial purposes.
Where information is processed
Our production communication servers are located in Europe. Text safety screening also uses operator-managed remote inference infrastructure; contact us for processing-location details. Applicable data-protection laws govern our processing and your privacy rights; server location alone does not determine which laws apply.
Retention and deletion
The current channel service keeps recent messages and transcripts in memory for up to 24 hours from their original message or speaking-turn time, with up to 100 recent messages. Older content may disappear earlier due to the message limit, service restart or other channel cleanup. This channel-history behaviour is not a promise about all account records, logs, backups or transcription-service storage.
Audio is processed temporarily for transcription and is deleted automatically immediately after transcription, without additional delay. We do not retain audio recordings after transcription. Transcripts are generated by an AI engine and may be inaccurate; do not rely on them as authoritative records. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Humeksis Ltd. is not responsible for transcription errors.
Optional speaker pictures are temporary channel content. Shared locations are removed through the channel’s stop-sharing, background and leave flows, subject to successful network communication and server cleanup.
Account information is kept as needed to operate the account. You can request deletion using Settings → Account & profile → Delete account, or contact us. Deleting your account removes account information from the authentication database; separate safety records are described below. Existing channel messages may remain until their normal retention period ends unless a separate removal applies.
We store limited safety event logs as described below. Our servers generate technical system, access and error logs for service operation, security and troubleshooting. These may include IP addresses, request details and error information. Logs are rotated and removed according to server retention and storage settings. Account deletion does not automatically remove these technical logs.
Your choices and requests
You can choose whether to share a picture or location, revoke device permissions, leave a channel, sign out or request account deletion. Muting incoming audio only changes what you hear; it does not delete information already shared. Contact gokturk@zonno.ai for privacy requests. We may need proportionate information to verify account ownership.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access information about your personal data, request correction or deletion, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, obtain a portable copy, or complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Contact gokturk@zonno.ai to exercise applicable rights. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Children
You must be at least 13 years old to use MobiTalk. Local laws and rules also apply, including any higher minimum age or parental-permission requirements. Please check the laws and rules that apply where you live.
Security and policy changes
We use measures intended to protect the service and control access. No network service guarantees absolute security, and channel communication should not be treated as confidential or end-to-end encrypted without a separately verified guarantee.
We will publish the effective date of approved updates and provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Contact: gokturk@zonno.ai.
Safety reports and evidence
Safety records include the terms version and acceptance time, account-based block preferences, reporter and reported account identifiers, incident time and channel, selected reason, relevant text or transcript, and the reported or review-pending still picture when applicable. We do not retain audio as report evidence. Reports and picture-review evidence are stored privately until resolved and deleted automatically within 30 days after resolution. Unresolved cases remain until handled; operational backups may retain copies until their scheduled expiry. Terms acceptance, active block preferences and service suspensions remain while needed to enforce choices and safety; contact support for access, deletion or appeal. Developer alerts contain a report reference and deadline; authorised developers can access evidence. Account deletion does not automatically erase evidence needed to investigate abuse or enforce a suspension. Safety event logs contain report references and deadlines rather than evidence.
Remote text safety screening
Safety screening sends submitted messages, nicknames, channel topics, completed transcripts and optional speaker pictures to operator-managed remote language-model services. Chat content is displayed before background screening finishes and may be removed afterwards. Pending checks store the relevant text or still picture privately until a decision or developer-review handoff; a restart resumes checks without restoring channel content. Model requests contain only the text or still image and content type, without account identifiers, email, location or audio. Automated screening can make mistakes; reporting and human review remain available. We do not retain audio for moderation. Only hashes of recently checked text and the allow/block decision are cached locally for up to five minutes.
